Home tour: A sleek and contemporary design for the Clark House

In this old building constructed in the 20th century and renovated by the architectural firm Table Architecture, every detail has been carefully designed to achieve perfect harmony between functionality and modernity. The compact and functional spaces, bathed in natural light, highlight clean and straight lines. For the choice of materials for the kitchen, integrated storage, and the bar, the firm sought the expertise of Bokea. The selected elements create a welcoming atmosphere that evokes the natural world.

The lacquered doors in CC-470 Rocky Road color, sometimes in the Grip model and other times in Slab, are a custom color from the Benjamin Moore range, specifically chosen to harmonize with the rest of the interior. This choice of finish helps create a visual continuity between different rooms, while adding a touch of character to the overall design. The natural wood handles elegantly contrast with the lacquered surfaces, adding a subtle warmth to the minimalist aesthetic.

In the kitchen, the Bokea fronts stand out for their simple design and discrete integration, allowing the storage spaces to blend seamlessly into the environment. The straight lines and the restrained material palette create a sense of calm, which is essential in a space dedicated to meal preparation.

The living room and hallways are not left behind, featuring integrated doors and closets that blend harmoniously with the rest of the house. Every detail, from the chosen materials to the applied colors, complements the architecture of this typically Montreal home. The exterior structure, inspired by the style of sheds, combined with the Bokea fronts, gives this residence a unique and refined character.
