In this large open space, the harmony of materials adds a unique touch. A white island, a wall of black cabinets with white oak inserts, a hidden secondary kitchen behind a wooden slat wall, and a countertop extending into a backsplash bring both dynamism and character to the clean lines of this design.
Sometimes, a subtle intervention can become the focal point of a design. Here, the addition of white oak cabinets with matched, horizontally aligned grain becomes the centerpiece of this kitchen. These cabinets are beautifully highlighted by the neutral and understated surroundings.

Two-tone kitchens have been popular for quite some time now. The combination of different materials and colors brings a lot of dynamism and depth to a space. In the case of this kitchen, they chose two neutral colors, black and white, which they enhanced with a central wooden element. This mix of three textures helps to better define the different sections of the kitchen: the island, the storage wall with built-in appliances, and the tall wooden cabinets, which elevate the overall look of the space.
